Circa 1906

A Brief History of the Bauknight House:

Built by Charles Bauknight at the turn of the 20th century for his new bride, the charming Bauknight House was completed in 1906. Charles Bauknight was a successful retail store owner in town, surpassing his father's success at a very young age. This greek revival home was the talk of the town when it was built and continues to capture the imagination of all who see it.
