Yes! Bauknight House is a beautiful location for weddings. We have options available for your intimate or large wedding.

Our pergola is ready to use. 

Yes, Bauknight House has five large bedrooms that sleep 10 and is available as a whole house rental through VRBO or AirBnB. Rental of just the main level suite is available at times. Contact us to request it.

There are additional accommodations a short walk away. A great option for the wedding party or guests of your event.

We are happy to provide a list of vendors to make the planning process easier. Our wedding & events liaison, Kayla, will  assist with venue & vendor related planning. She can also provide event coordination, included in some of our packages or available as an a la carte option for small events.

Yes, in most cases you can use any vendor of your choice. You will need to provide a list of vendors being used & the best way to contact them. A vendor contract may be required.

Alcohol is allowed. Clients with a paid rental are permitted to serve their guests or have a licensed bartender serve within the area and time of their reservation. We do not provide or serve alcohol. Self service bars are not permitted. 

Yes! We have a growing collection of tables, chairs, linens, tableware, outdoor heaters, antique sofas, easels and SO MUCH MORE. Based on your reservation, we can provide a list of what is included or available as an a la carte option. Our selection is only available to use by Bauknight House clients. Before you rent or buy somewhere else, just ask if we have what you want. We're happy to offer this money saving option to our clients.

Bauknight House is ideally suited to entertaining, with both indoor and outdoor space, The 1200+ sq ft expansive covered veranda blurs the line between inside and outside beautifully. 

The interior can accommodate 20+ for a seated meal in the dining room & parlor with room left to mingle in the living & sunrooms. Cocktail or drop in style events can accommodate 60+ inside and many more outside.

Our courtyard can seat 150+. Inquire about larger groups.

Yes. We have a beautifully restored bridal suite on the main level including a bathroom with private room for the shower and toilet. The groom's dressing room is upstairs with full bathroom next-door & access to the upper level beverage station. The home has three other large bedrooms that would serve nicely as additional dressing rooms.

Yes, we allow tents on the property with advance notice. Please provide your vendor name & contact info to our venue coordinator for approval of the site plan and delivery/setup. She can also assist with locating a vendor for your tent rental.

There is plenty of parking available for you and your guests. We have onsite parking behind the home for 8-10 cars for overnight guests and small events. 

Parking options include marked street parking along Main St, S John St, a private lot on Main St and city parking for overflow. For large events we encourage valet parking.
